The CDC says the P.1 variant has three mutations and impacts the transmission and antigenic profile. Three days ago, the IDPH announced reports of the U.K. variant of COVID-19 at a care facility. The IDPH reminds Iowans to wear a mask, practice social distancing, get tested if your have symptoms of COVID-19 and wash your hands regularly.
